Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your browser, where they are stored to be sent back to the same websites on subsequent requests. They have different purposes and characteristics and may be used by the owner of the visited website or by third parties. localStorage is a browser storage space: the information it contains is not automatically transmitted with every request and may persist until deleted, unless the site sets up expiry mechanisms. This notice describes the cookies and other storage technologies used by the site.
Here you will find all the information on the cookies installed by this site and instructions on how to manage your preferences. To learn more about how cookies work in general, you can consult an informational website such as allaboutcookies.org.
The owner of this site is Eurovetro S.r.l., with registered office at Via G. Miglio n. 1, 21040 Origgio (VA), represented by its legal representative pro tempore. For any information you can write to privacy@eurovetro.com.
This notice describes the use of cookies and similar tools on the site. Further information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) is available in the Privacy Policy of the site.
If you continue browsing without giving consent, only the necessary technical technologies remain active. You can close the banner by selecting the “X” at the top right: closing it does not constitute consent, does not result in the installation of non-necessary cookies and keeps the analytics script disabled. Simply browsing does not constitute consent. The possible activation of YouTube videos requires a separate choice via “Load the video”.
These technologies make it possible to store the choice expressed on the banner and the selected language. They do not require consent insofar as they are strictly necessary for the transmission of a communication or for the provision of a service that you have expressly requested.
The site uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to collect statistics on visits, such as pages viewed, visit duration, traffic source and device used. In the configuration adopted by the site, the analytics JavaScript script is downloaded and executed in memory only after you click “Accept”, without installing analytics cookies on the device, even after consent. If you choose “Deny consent” or close the banner via the “X” without having given consent, the script is neither downloaded nor executed and no data is transmitted to Google through this service. The absence of cookies is not equivalent to the absence of data collection or transmission: when you authorize the activation of the service, browsing data is processed for statistical purposes. For this reason, the activation of Analytics remains subject to your consent.
The site does not install Google Analytics cookies. The execution of the script in memory does not mean that data already transmitted to Google is deleted when the page is closed or at the end of the visit: the execution of the script in the browser and the retention of the transmitted data are distinct aspects.
The videos on the site are hosted on YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited, and are embedded through a separate activation system (“two-click solution”). Before activation, a cover image stored on the Eurovetro server is shown: the player is not loaded, no requests are sent to YouTube and no cookies of the service are activated. Only by selecting. If you choose “Load the video”, the site loads the player from youtube-nocookie.com. From that moment YouTube receives data, including the IP address and browser information, and may use cookies or other storage tools in connection with the service. The enhanced privacy mode is not equivalent to the absence of processing of personal data. Before activation, clear information must be made available on the recipient, the processing operations and any non-necessary technologies, with consent acquired where required: the simple click to play does not automatically constitute consent to any further processing. Google processes the data for its own purposes according to its own notice, available in the Google Privacy Policy. Eurovetro’s responsibilities relating to the integration of the service into the site and to the management of the user’s choices remain unaffected.
On your first visit a banner appears with two buttons of equal prominence and a closing “X” at the top right. If you close the banner via the “X”, you do not give consent: non-necessary cookies are not installed and the analytics script remains disabled. You can continue browsing with only the necessary technical technologies, without prejudice to the possible subsequent separate activation of videos.
To remember whether you have authorized or not the start of the analytics script, the site saves the “eurovetro_consent” preference in the browser’s localStorage. As part of the management of consent to Analytics, this preference is the only data stored locally and is used exclusively to remember your choice. It is not an analytics cookie and remains saved until manually deleted, unless you change it through the preference management command. This description concerns Analytics and not the tools used for language selection or for YouTube videos, described in the respective sections.
The choice expressed on the banner is stored for subsequent visits. You can change it or withdraw consent at any time through the “Manage cookies” command in the site footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before it.
When you withdraw consent, the site updates the preference in localStorage by setting it to “Deny” and prevents the analytics script from loading on pages visited subsequently and on future visits made with the same browser and device, as long as that preference remains stored. Updating the preference does not, by itself, interrupt the execution of a script that may already be active on the open page: the withdrawal command alone therefore does not guarantee the immediate interruption of any further collection or transmission on that page. Since the Analytics configuration does not install analytics cookies, there is no function for deleting cookies of this category. Withdrawal does not automatically delete data that may already have been transmitted to Google; the rights provided by the GDPR remain unaffected, including the right to erasure where applicable.
The use of Google services may involve transfers of personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area, in particular the United States. For transfers to US recipients that adhere to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and fall within the scope of the relevant certification, the reference is the adequacy decision of the European Commission. Information on the transfers and the applicable safeguards for Google services is available in the Google Privacy Policy.
You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. If you do not know the type and version of your browser, click “Help” in the browser window. If you know it, choose yours from the following list.
